Last weekend Griffin and I rode our bikes down to the Ferry Building on Saturday to check out the farmers market and stopped on along the way at Red’s Java House for a very greasey brunch/lunch.

Once at the Ferry Building we wandered the market and the shops inside while sipping lattes. We then sat outside for a bit while we finished our drinks (kinda hard to bike with coffee) and saw this go by:

A troupe of mimes. They were one entry in what looked to be a very, very laid back race down the Embarcadero bike lane that mostly involved each group pushing a shopping cart and drinking beer (out of the shopping cart). We also saw a group of Mexican wrestlers go by as well as Tigger and Dorthey from the Wizard of Oz.
